About Us
A family of machine builders in Wadhwan, since 1992
Shree Butbhavani Mechanic Works makes Swastic grinding machines: cylindrical, universal, internal and CNC grinders, plus the dressing attachments, spindles and coolant filtration that go with them.
Our Story
Two generations of machine builders
Shree Butbhavani Mechanic Works is the extended shadow of its Managing Director, Manharlal Pitroda, who has 50 years of experience in his field. He worked at Parmar Machine Tools, makers of lathe machines, and then at Parmar Textiles, makers of textile spindles.
He is supported by his son, Kirit Pitroda, who worked for 15 years with Amba Mechanic Works, owners of the well-established Sharda brand of cylindrical grinding machines. He then launched his own make of grinding machines, and the Swastic brand was born. Today he has 35 years of experience behind him.
Shree Butbhavani Mechanic Works was incorporated in 1992 at Surendranagar, Gujarat. Swastic was the first in Gujarat to develop a cylindrical grinding machine with a one-piece body.
We aim to be the best in our field and to show that excellent machines need not be expensive. Quality comes first, prices stay affordable, and after-sales service is prompt.
